Hey, I am all for doing something rather than nothing. I am also fine (actually, great!) with the idea of a few martinis and with finding comfort in the company of people who understand your troubles. But, Pink Slip Parties!? Do they actually work or do they just help you feel better? Let me rephrase, because I just realized that if you feel better, well then, they sort of work. Do they actually help you find a job by expanding your network? I would love to read your opinions or personal experience. Have you found a job through a Pink Slip Party? Please do share…help me remain an optimist! (Yes, this was me being an optimist.)
